It took 11 years to finally go back.

11 years of wondering, wishing, hoping, and longing to return to the place I used to call home.

In the spring of 2023, I went on a two month long journey to Venezuela. These images are the beginning of me piecing together and processing my experience of reconnecting with my family after 11 years and remembering childhood moments long forgotten. Venezuela is a place of beauty and pain. It is in constant transition.
